Sometime between 6 p.m. Saturday and 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, someone stole a red 1997 Dodge Ram pickup, which has since been recovered in Wagner.
The Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers has designated the incident as the Crime of the Week.
The truck was parked in the city parking lot, located on the 400 block of North Rowley Street in Mitchell. The vehicle was left abandoned by a housing unit in Wagner on Tuesday.
Information about this crime, or any other crime, can be reported to Crime Stoppers by calling 996-1700. Callers do not have to identify themselves, and a cash reward of at least $250 is available for tips that lead to an arrest. There is no caller ID attached to the line, so callers will remain anonymous.
To date, 240 crimes have been solved with information provided to Crime Stoppers.
