PUKWANA — One man was injured Sunday night in a one-vehicle rollover crash 2 miles south of Pukwana.

Charges are pending against 34-year-old Adam Haley, of Marblehead, Massachusetts, who was the only person involved in the crash. Haley sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries, according to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.

At 11:55 p.m., Haley was driving a 2010 Honda FIT west on Interstate 90, while there were reportedly gusty winds in the area and ice on the road. Haley lost controlled of the vehicle and it went into the median and rolled, coming to rest upside down.

Haley was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was transported by ambulance to the Chamberlain hospital.

Charges are pending against Haley that are not related to his driving but have not yet been released. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
