ALEXANDRIA-A man sustained minor injuries in a rollover crash on Wednesday morning.

At 8:13 a.m., the 64-year-old man was driving a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 east on Interstate 90, about 8 miles east of Alexandria.

According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, he lost control of the vehicle on the icy road at mile marker 352, and the pickup spun out, entered the south ditch and rolled once before coming to rest on its wheels.

The man, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was transported to the hospital in Mitchell. He was the vehicle's only occupant. The truck was towed.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, and the man has not been cited.
