ARLINGTON - One person died in a two-vehicle crash Saturday near Arlington.
A 29-year-old male sustained fatal injuries and was the driver of a 2016 Chevrolet Express Van in the crash that occurred at 3:26 p.m. on U.S. Highway 14, about five miles west of Arlington.
Officials are not yet naming the person who died pending notification of family.
The South Dakota Department of Public Safety said a 15-year-old who was driving the other vehicle, a 2017 Ford F-350 pickup, was uninjured.
The Ford pickup was westbound on Highway 14 when it crossed the center line and hit the van head-on, according to officials. The 29-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Charges are pending against the 15-year-old. South Dakota Highway Patrol investigated teh crash.
