FORT THOMPSON -- Authorities in Fort Thompson are still in search of a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since 5 p.m. Friday.

A statewide endangered persons report was issued at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday for Shauntae Hope Marks.

She is described as an American Indian female, about 5 feet, 7 inches in height and weighing approximately 170 pounds.

Marks was last seen at Mary Manor apartment complex in Fort Thompson wearing blue jeans, a white striped shirt, a black and gray hoodie, blue Etnies brand shoes and glasses.

According to the notice, Marks was distraught over a recent relationship and threatened to harm herself.

Authorities urge anyone who has seen Marks or has any information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Fort Thompson Bureau of Indian Affairs at (605) 245-2351.

Fort Thompson Chief of Police Scott Shields said Marks was still missing and authorities still had not received any indication of her location from the public.
