A Mitchell man received another chance to succeed on probation Tuesday after violating his probation earlier this year.

Jesse White Bull, 27, was sentenced to 60 days in jail during court at the Davison County Public Safety Center. He received 60 days’ credit for time already served.

White Bull violated his probation by not paying restitution, drinking at a bar and not keeping in contact with his court services officer.

Judge Tim Bjorkman ordered White Bull stay on probation through 2016 and continue to pay a minimum of $70 per month toward court fees and fines. He works full-time and part-time jobs and has been doing well on probation, his attorney Phil Carlson said.

Bjorkman said keeping him on the same probation schedule will keep him on track to keep paying and remind him he’s on a deadline.
