LAKE ANDES-A Wagner man charged in January with choking a woman will serve no additional jail time, a Charles Mix County court determined recently.
Skip Lee, 31, pleaded guilty to domestic simple assault on May 29. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 86 days suspended and credit for four days served.
At 3:22 a.m. on Jan. 24, law enforcement responded to a residence on South Park Street in Wagner. According to court documents, officers found a woman in the bathroom with marks on her face. The woman said Lee had choked her until she lost consciousness.
Lee was arrested at the scene and charged with domestic aggravated assault. He was released on a personal recognizance bond on Jan. 29.
Lee was ordered to pay a total of $311.50 for court costs, fines and a domestic abuse surcharge.
