SIOUX FALLS (AP) -- A Minnesota man has pleaded not guilty to charges he raped two 11-year-old girls in South Dakota.
According to media reports, 24-year-old Justin Steenstra faces nine counts of rape in the first degree, 22 counts of sexual contact with a child under the age of 16 and one count of indecent exposure.
Court documents state that the alleged assaults happened between September of last year and June of this year in Brandon.
Authorities say Steenstra reportedly knew the two girls through family.
A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for July 3.
