A 42-year-old Mitchell woman will spend four years in prison. Kristine Louise Wilson admitted to possession of a controlled substance Tuesday and was ruled a habitual offender.
The charge is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. Wilson's attorney and the prosecution agreed Wilson needs help with her prescription drug problem.
She was sentenced to four years in prison, including an 18-month methamphetamine program at the state women's penitentiary.
