A Mitchell woman admitted Tuesday to violating her probation for a possession of a controlled substance conviction.
Tina Whitmore, 34, admitted she failed to enroll in a chemical dependency treatment program. She also admitted that she failed to keep contact with her court services officer and missed multiple appointments.
All of a suspended fouryear prison term could be reimposed as a result of the admission. Sentencing is scheduled for February.
Whitmore was arrested Dec. 9, 2011, and later convicted of possession of a controlled substance after she was taken to the emergency room at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital with an apparent drug overdose and oxycodone was found in her possession.
