A Mitchell woman was charged last week with spraying bug spray in a man's face and threatening him with a knife.
Stephanie Bearrobe, 50, is charged with aggravated assault, a Class 3 felony.
According to court documents, the incident occurred on Aug. 12. The alleged victim and two witnesses reportedly said that after spraying the man in the face, Bearrobe had swung at him multiple times with a knife.
Mitchell police reportedly found a can of bug spray on Bearrobe when they made contact with her, and a box knife was found when she was searched at the Davison County Jail. Bearrobe reportedly denied spraying the man in the face.
Bearrobe is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
