A 19-year-old Mitchell woman was sentenced Tuesday to 15 days in jail and four years of probation for possession of methamphetamine.
Tangi Lynn Taylor was arrested March 12 after police found one-quarter gram of meth during a search of her apartment. She pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a controlled substance.
"You keep making bad decisions repeatedly," Judge Sean O'Brien told Taylor before sentencing her. "You're obviously headed down the wrong path at this stage in your life."
In addition to jail time and probation, Taylor was fined $300 plus other court-related costs.
