The Mitchell Board of Education will hold a special board meeting at noon Monday in Room 116 at the north campus of Mitchell Technical Institute, 821 N. Capital St., to consider approving the final bid packages for the Trades Center Building project on the MTI south campus.
With the bids approved, the project will come in at roughly $18.1 million, or about $400,000 less than the budgeted projection of $18.5 million.
In a meeting memo to the school board, Superintendent Joe Graves noted the $400,000 remaining in the budget will be used for electronics to equip the new building.
