The Mitchell Police Division is seeking information regarding a male suspect in a New Year's Day burglary.
A black-haired male is believed to be a suspect in a 2 p.m. burglary of a residence near M&H Gas on Havens Street in Mitchell, according to a press release issued Thursday by Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers, Inc.
Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest of the subject or subjects involved in the incident.
Information can be provided to Crime Stoppers by calling 996-1700, through a mobile phone application or by texting "MITCS" and a message to 274637. Information can be provided to the organization anonymously.
The organization offers a minimum of $250 for all crimes through solved through Crime Stoppers, and 355 crimes have been solved through information provided to date.
