A Mitchell man pleaded guilty Tuesday to possession of methamphetamine.
Bernard Drapeau, 31, faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine as a result of the plea. In exchange, prosecutors dismissed other charges, and agreed to recommend Drapeau receive a suspended three-year prison term and serve no more than 90 days in jail.
Drapeau was arrested June 2 when he was found with a pipe containing traces of methamphetamine.
He is scheduled to be sentenced in November.
