A Mitchell man received a suspended imposition of sentence Tuesday on a grand theft conviction.
Lukas Lingemann, 25, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and 30 months of probation during court at the Davison County Public Safety Center. He received a suspended imposition of sentence, which means if he does well on probation, he has the chance to clear his record of the felony conviction.
Lingemann was arrested in April for stealing more than $1,500 from his employer over an extended period.
Lingemann will serve the first 10 days of jail starting Nov. 18, another 10 days in October 2014 and the final 10 days in October 2015.
He paid $1,579 in restitution Tuesday.
