A Mitchell man pleaded guilty Tuesday to grand theft.
Matthew Pergeson, 20, entered his plea during court at the Davison County Public Safety Center.
He pleaded guilty to stealing three televisions in July from unlocked campers at Jack’s Campers in Mitchell. As part of plea agreement, the state agreed to drop a burglary charge.
The theft conviction carries a maximum of two years in prison and a $4,000 fine.
Judge Tim Bjorkman ordered a presentence investigation and scheduled sentencing for December.
