A Mitchell man was arrested for a felony domestic bond violation.
On Nov. 1, Jeremy Mackey, 31, got in a physical altercation with the victim at their apartment, according to court documents.
Mackey was out on bond on a previous assault charge against the victim. He was allegedly seen on top of the victim on the stairs inside the apartment building. The victim suffered a scratch in the altercation. He was also seen pushing the victim, according to court documents.
Mackey had been ordered to have no contact with the victim because of the previous assault charge.
The domestic bond violation carries a maximum penalty upon conviction of two years in prison and a $4,000 fine.

He is also charged with simple assault, a misdemeanor.
