The city of Mitchell declared a snow emergency Tuesday, ordering vehicles to be removed from emergency snow routes by 6 p.m.
Vehicles not removed are subject to ticketing and towing.
No parking is allowed along the routes until the storm ends and the streets have been plowed curb to curb.
