RAPID CITY (AP) -- A missing state prison inmate is back in custody in South Dakota.
Corrections officials say 30-year-old Justin Davis returned to the minimum-security unit of the Black Hills Correctional Transition Center in Rapid City on Monday night. He had failed to return on time earlier in the day after his work release job.
Davis is serving two years behind bars on a forgery conviction out of Butte County.
