A Minnesota man pleaded guilty Tuesday to a felony drug charge relating to a Jan. 10 traffic stop in Mitchell.
Nicholas James Siedow , 22, of New Prague, Minn., was arrested after a South Dakota Highway Patrol trooper found between a quarter- and a half-ounce of marijuana and a prescription drug known as methylphenidate, which is used to treat ADHD.
In exchange for Siedow's guilty plea to possession of a controlled substance, the state agreed to drop three other drug-related charges.
A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing was set for August.
