SIOUX FALLS (AP) - Authorities say a pursuit that ended with a crash in Sioux Falls led to the arrest of a man suspected in an attempted homicide in Sisseton earlier this month.
The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office says deputies, Sioux Falls police and state troopers pursued the vehicle after it refused to stop. Authorities say the vehicle drove the wrong way on the interstate before crashing into a fence.
Deputies say two subjects were immediately detained, and a perimeter was created to prevent the escape of the attempted homicide suspect, who was taken into custody after he was found lying down in a pickup truck.
The sheriff's office identified him as 29-year-old Zachariah Ryan. Attorney information for Ryan was not immediately available.
Authorities say no one was injured in the incident.
