• Sioux Falls Warrior and Sioux Falls Roosevelt Sweepstakes Speech/Debate Tournament, Nov. 7-8: Ryan Solberg, fifth, varsity domestic extemp; A.J. Krumholz, fifth, varsity foreign extemp; Emma Allen and Nicole Sanderson, sixth in novice public forum debate; Madison Hetland and Josh Loecker, fifth in novice public forum debate.
• The Aberdeen Golden Eagle Challenge Speech Tournament, Nov. 14: Matthew Van Erdewyk, second, novice extemp; Shelby Riggs, third, varsity oratory; Raina Grimsley, second, varsity oratory; finalist in varsity domestic extemp; Destiny Pinder-Buckley, second, varsity international extemp; finalist in varsity oratory; Ryan Solberg, finalist in varsity domestic extemp.
• Sioux Falls Roosevelt After-School Novice Tournament, Nov. 18: Nicole Sanderson and Madison Hetland, undefeated team.

The team also competed at the Brookings Bell Tournament on Dec. 19.
