McMillen, Gebel earn honors at debate tournament

BETTENDORF, IOWA — The Mitchell High School debate team took part in the Buttendor Bulldog Tournament, which was held virtually Friday, Nov. 13 and Saturday, Nov. 14 out of Bettendorf, Iowa.

Competing for Mitchell, Jaclyn McMillen placed 2nd in Program Oral Interp and Joel Gebel took home the championship for extemporaneous speaking.
