ABERDEEN (AP) - A McLaughlin man accused in federal court of using shod feet to assault another man also faces state charges for allegedly stabbing a woman.
Twenty-three-year-old Sinjin Cameron has pleaded not guilty to the federal charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.
The Walworth County Sheriff's Office in April issued an arrest warrant for Cameron on separate state attempted murder and burglary charges.
Walworth County State's Attorney James Hare tells the Aberdeen American News that Cameron allegedly kicked down a woman's door in Mobridge and stabbed her.
Authorities got reports Cameron fled to the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, which straddles the North and South Dakota border.

Hare says Cameron will be turned over once his federal proceedings are completed. He doesn't currently have an attorney in the state case.
