MINER COUNTY - A man sustained a non-fatal shot over the weekend while pheasant hunting in Miner County.
At approximately 1:15 p.m. Saturday on private land in Miner County, a man was shot in the lip with a pellet from another hunter. The man, whose name is not being released by South Dakota Game Fish & Parks, was blocking at one end of the field when he was hit by another hunter at the opposite end.
The injury was minor, according to GF&P, and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital. No citations are being issued.
Conservation Officer Evan Meyer investigated the incident.
