Mitchell police are investigating a death of a man in his mid-20s.

A man was found dead at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in a house on the 300 block of North Minnesota Street, according to Mitchell Patrol Sgt. Joel Reinesch.

The manner of death has not yet been determined.

"There doesn't appear to be a threat to the general public," Reinesch said.

Mitchell police continue to investigate. No other information was immediately available.
