LAKE ANDES — A federal court has unsealed the case of a man accused of sexual offenses against two children in 1996 and 2006 on tribal land in Lake Andes.

An indictment filed on Dec. 3 and unsealed Jan. 6 alleges that Frank Sanchez sexually abused and had sexual contact with one child between June and September of 1996 and that he had sexual contact with a second child between June and September of 2006.

Both children were reportedly under the age of 12 when Sanchez allegedly committed the offenses.

Sanchez was arrested on Dec. 18 and remains in custody.
