Lyman School District and the city of Howard will hold elections today.
Lyman School District has five people running for three 3-year seats on the school board -- Marlene Reuman, Meta Halverson and Kris Cleveland are all incumbents, challenged by Mike Chester and Susan Thompson.
The city of Howard will elect a mayor and ward 1 councilperson. Current Mayor Andrew Dold is being challenged by Donald M. Arens, who currently holds a Ward 1 council seat.
Ward 1 councilman Lynn Borgers is being challenged by Mary E. Leary.
