Lyle Duane Page, 85, Sioux Falls, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Southridge Health Care Center, Sioux Falls.
Graveside rites will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Artesian. Visitation begins at noon on Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Sioux Falls. Visitation will resume from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Will Funeral Chapel, Mitchell.
He was born on Oct. 7, 1923, in Fedora.
He grew up in the Fedora area where he received his education. He entered military service and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He returned to South Dakota following his honorable discharge. He was a roofing contractor working out of Huron and various communities in South Dakota.

Following his retirement from the roofing business he became the maintenance supervisor for an apartment complex in Mitchell.
He lived in Mitchell until moving to Sioux Falls two years ago.
He is survived by two daughters: Shirley Kuechenmeister and husband Dennis, Sioux Falls; and Brenda Stevens, Pittsburg, Pa.; a son, Clay and wife Trish, Garden Grove, Calif.; two stepsons: Dale Page, Sioux Falls; and J.R. Allen and wife Pat, Englewood, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Velma Jean Peters, Torrington, Wyo., and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers.
