Lucille Boreson, 90, Winner, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at Winner Regional Healthcare Center Long Term Care Facility, Winner.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Winner. Burial will be in Winner Cemetery, Winner. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Mason Funeral Home, Winner, with a 7 p.m. prayer service.
She was born on Aug. 12, 1918, in Springview, Neb., to Hans and Bertha (Meyer) Jorgensen.
She lived on the family farm south of Colome and attended high school in Colome.
After graduation, she moved to Winner and worked for Tripp County offices.

On Oct. 29, 1939, she married Donald Boreson.
They spent a short time in California, and then in the early 1940s, bought a ranch in Todd County.
They sold the ranch and moved to Winner, and in 1949, built the Buffalo Trail Motel, which she managed from 1950 until 1969, when they sold it.
She was also a bookkeeper for a business in Winner.
She was involved in Eastern Star, PIO and the United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Delilah Sharpe and husband Harold, Mobridge; and Keo Boreson, Winner; a son, Charles and wife Bonnie, Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant son, her parents, a sister, Mabel Parshall; and two brothers: Harold and Elmer Jorgensen.
