Dakota Wesleyan University will showcase local and regional authors and artists from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, at the McGovern Library, on campus, Mitchell.
Authors on hand to sign their works include Jim McLaird, "Calamity Jane;" Sean Flynn, "Chief: Marine Corps Warrior;" and Don Simmons, "George McGovern: A Political Life, a Political Legacy" and Confederate Settlements in British Honduras."
Regional authors include Bernie Hunhoff, Jon Lauck, Tom Kilian, Patrick Hicks and multiple authors of "On the Homefront."
The event will also feature the new CD of Diane Sundstrom, pianist; and pottery by Cheri Ramsdell. There will also be Tanzanian baskets, beaded jewelry and weavings.
