Linda Kessler Forster, 67, Sioux Falls, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, at Southridge Healthcare Center, Sioux Falls.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Salem. There will be no visitation.
Kinzley Funeral Home, Salem, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on April 23, 1941, in Woonsocket to Marvin and Faye (Noel) Kessler.
She moved to Salem with her family as a child and grew up in Salem, graduating from St. Mary's High School.

On April 21, 1959, she married Harlen Forster.
She lived most of her life in the Sioux Falls area. She had been a resident of Southridge for the last year and a half.
She is survived by three sons: Chris and wife Christine, Fort Pierre; Wes and wife Jamie; and Eric and wife Karen, all of Cedar Rapids; two daughters: Amy Waters and husband Geren, Tucson, Ariz.; and Julie Raap and husband Dan, Hartford; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her step-mother, Lorraine Kessler, Salem; two brothers: Marvin Kessler and wife Rose, Honolulu; and Allen Kessler and wife Sandy, Missoula, Mont.; and two sisters: Connie Peterson and husband Robert, Omaha, Neb.; and Lori Kessler, Columbia, Mo.
