PIERRE (AP) - The part-owner of a South Dakota hunting operation has pleaded guilty to interfering with a federal officer who was investigating possible violations of wildlife laws.
Forty-four-year-old James Steckley of Kimball faces up to a year in prison and a $100,000 fine when he's sentenced in January.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Steckley hosted deer-hunting clients at Steckley's Wild Dakota Outfitters without appropriate licenses in late 2011.
