RELIANCE (AP) - KELO-TV is moving its 1,000-foot tower that serves central South Dakota off a bluff considered sacred by Native Americans.
The KPLO broadcast tower has been on Medicine Butte near Reliance for more than 50 years.
An ice storm in January 2010 knocked it down, so the CBS affiliate in Sioux Falls talked to the Lower Brule Tribe and decided to move it six miles to the southwest.
