Jerald Edwin Hagan, 77, Denver, died Dec. 23, 2008, under hospice care.
Memorial military services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fort Logan Veteran's Cemetery, Denver.
Arrangements are under the direction of Olinger Hampden Mortuary and Crematory, Denver.
He was born on Feb. 5, 1931, in Mitchell to F.L. and Opal (Rogan) Hagan.
He graduated from Notre Dame High School, Northern State University, Aberdeen, and the University of South Dakota, Vermillion.

In 1949, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served a year and a half. He was recalled to the Navy in May 1952 during the Korean War.
He attended Naval Flight School in Pensacola, Fla.
In July 1957, he married Nancy Naas.
They divorced in 1964.
He worked at Business Aviation.
He moved to Denver in the 1980s and worked for Denver Jet Aviation until his retirement.
He is survived by five sons: Jerald II, Loveland, Colo.; Sean, Springhill, Fla.; Scott, Laporte, Colo.; Robert, Costa Mesa, Calif.; and Bill, Colorado; and Nancy Hagan, Greeley, Colo.; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Marilyn Hagan, Sioux Falls; and many nieces and nephews.
