COLMAN - A 55-year-old Humboldt man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash last week.

Richard Ochs died when his 2017 Ford F-250 pickup crashed at 1:19 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 29, five miles northeast of Colman.

The South Dakota Department of Public Safety said the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a guard rail and rolled over the bridge. The vehicle came to rest in the median below the bridge and Ochs was pronounced dead at the scene.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol investigated the crash.
