Stephanie Ruden and Jerry Hettinger announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are James and Donna Ruden, Emery; and Gerald and Margaret Hettinger, White Lake.
Stephanie is a graduate of Emery High School and Mitchell Technical Institute with an associate of applied science degree in the medical secretary/transcriptionist program. She is employed at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, Mitchell.
Jerry is a graduate of White Lake High School. He is engaged in farming near White Lake and is employed part time at Platte Livestock Market, Platte.
A Sept. 16 wedding is planned in Emery.
