MONTROSE -- Jack Hansen, former general manager of KSFY-TV, began work July 5 as the new executive director of the Greater McCook Development Alliance.
Hansen's hiring was announced recently by Alliance Chairman Greg Kludt of Montrose.
"We know the GMDA is in good hands," Kludt said.
The Alliance is sponsored by McCook County and the cities of Canistota, Montrose, Salem and Spencer.
Hansen replaces Joe Bartmann, whose resignation as GMDA director became official on June 30. Bartmann will become associate director of the Rural Learning Center in Howard. He was one of the GDMA's founders and its only director prior to Hansen's hiring.
