The Davison County Child Protection Team and "Pedal Power" have joined forces to provide refurbished bikes, tricycles and helmets for Christmas to disadvantaged children in Davison County.
Bikes will be donated through the Department of Social Services, Salvation Army, schools, Safehouse and other organizations during the Christmas Program.
The Pedal Power program is based at the Mike Durfee State Penitentiary, Springfield, where the bicycles are refurbished. Donations of bikes are taken throughout the years.
