Friends of Battery B will hold a rummage sale, silent auction and bake sale from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 8, at the National Guard Armory, Mitchell.
Silent auction items include a new snowblower, an 8-month-old quarter horse, jewelry and other items.
Proceeds will be used to help defray the cost of getting the soldiers all home for Christmas.
Monies from the silent auction and bake sale will be matched by Thrivent.
