A 73-year-old Fulton man on a motorcycle collided with a deer east of Mitchell on Tuesday.

The driver of the 2019 BMW bike was traveling westbound on Highway 38 around 2:15 p.m. when a deer ran out of the north ditch and did not have time to avoid the collision, according to the Davison County Sheriff's Office. Minor injuries incurred and no citations were issued. The motorcycle also had light damage. The Sheriff's Office is not releasing the driver's name at this time.
