STURGIS (AP) - The owner of the Full Throttle Saloon lost to fire is planning to rebuild, but his new place will have a new name and be in a new location.
KEVN television reports that Michael Ballard will build The Pappy Hoel Campground five miles down the road in a spot formerly known as the Broken Spoke Campground.
The new name honors the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally founder. It will be a 600-acre attraction, where RVs and campers will be allowed for the first time in the saloon's history.
The Full Throttle Saloon burned to the ground in an overnight fire in September.
