Friendship Circle meets in February

The Friendship Circle CFEL Club met Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Cornerstone with Alice as hostess. Following lunch, President Sylvia conducted the meeting. The pledge and creed were recited. Six members answered the roll call with a heart healthy tip.

The secretary's report was read and approved. The financial report was given. A thank you was read from Slumberland for CFEL's donation to the bed giveaway. Another letter was read from Louise thanking everyone for their help at the State Convention and encouraging members for a successful new year.

The club program books were distributed and the club's new schedule was determined.

The spring council meeting will be held on April 4. Louise encouraged everyone to be working on cultural arts exhibits.

Sylvia presented highlights of the February county program "Heart Month - EMT Training." The program was educational and very pertinent to Heart Month.

The March meeting will be held on March 8 with Louise as hostess.

Sylvia won the door prize.

The meeting was adjourned.

Games were played following the meeting with Sylvia and Esther winning prizes. All members received adult coloring books as a complimentary gift.
