Four Mitchell residents have recently been inducted into Circle of Honor, an honorary organization for UPS drivers who have achieved 25 years or more of accident-free driving.
Kevin Doorn, Kelly Gregg, William Koupal are Mitchell residents whose UPS work location is Mitchell, and Dennis Thompson - a Mitchell resident whose work location is Huron - were honored Monday.
UPS announced seven "elite" drivers from South Dakota to be added to the Circle of Honor this year. South Dakota has 30 active Circle of Honor drivers with a combined 867 years of accident-free driving. There are 295 full-time UPS drivers in South Dakota.
Other drivers from South Dakota honored Monday are Jeffrey Larson, of Sioux Falls, Norman Tieszen, of Sioux Falls, and Shawn Ward, of Watertown.
