SIOUX FALLS (AP) -- A Rosebud man convicted of sexually abusing a child he helped teach at the town's elementary school is heading to federal prison.
Sixty-five-year-old Benjamin Murphy was sentenced this week to three years in custody to be followed by two years of supervised release.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says the abuse happened in December 1999. Murphy wasn't indicted until last August, and he pleaded guilty in January.
