An Ethan man is scheduled to be extradited to Colorado to face a charge of escape.
Westley Wisdom, 27, was stopped for speeding on May 20 in Davison County.
According to police reports, Wisdom gave the officer his brother's name and date of birth. He later admitted to using a false name because of an active warrant for escape in Colorado.
He appeared in court at the Davison County Public Safety Center in Mitchell Tuesday and agreed to sign extradition papers. Wisdom is being held in the Davison County Jail.
Wisdom will appear in the local court on June 7 if he has not been picked up by Colorado authorities, said Judge Tim Bjorkman.
