ETHAN - An Ethan man was arrested Tuesday for the rape of a 15-year-old boy.

Allen Palmer, 28, admitted to having sex with a 15 year old at least 10 times over a two-year period. Palmer allegedly also said that he believed that the victim was at least 16 and that everything was consensual. Palmer told law enforcement that he would pick up the boy in Mitchell, take him to Ethan, and later bring him back to Mitchell.

Palmer is charged with 10 counts of fourth-degree rape, a Class 3 felony for which each count is punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a fine of 30,000. He was released on bond Wednesday and is scheduled to appear in court July 19.
