Esther M. Holt, 86, Winner, formerly of White River, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at Winner Regional Health Care Center Long Term Care Facility, Winner.
Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. today at United Methodist Church, White River. Burial and graveside services will be at a later date in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix.
Mason Funeral Home, Winner, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on April 22, 1922, in Havelock, Iowa, to Bert and Myrtle Bass.
She graduated from Havelock Consolidated School in 1939.

In May 1944, she married Raymond D. Holt of Rolfe, Iowa.
In 1952, the family moved to Phoenix, where she lived until after the death of her husband and her retirement from J.C. Penney.
In 1995, she moved to Winner and then later to White River.
She was a member of White River United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir.
She is survived by two sons: Randy and wife Karen, Phoenix; and Kevin and wife Frankie, White River; a daughter: Vanessa Hight and husband Dan, White River; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three sisters and one brother.
