The Mitchell Board of Education will not hold its scheduled regular meeting Tuesday, May 26 due to a lack of agenda items, according to Joe Graves, superintendent for the Mitchell School District.

The next meeting of the board is scheduled for June 8, and Graves indicated that it is hoped that meeting would return to a live format, though no formal decision has been made as of yet. The board has been meeting by video and teleconference for much of the spring due to the COVID-19 outbreak. If a live meeting were to be held, it would take place at the Mitchell Career & Technical Education Academy at 5 p.m.

More information on the June 8 meeting, including the meeting agenda, will appear when available on the Mitchell School District website under the School Board tab.
